Addressing the function, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan praised the contest as part of efforts to promote the movement to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. First prize went to Phan Tien Dung’s entry about Tran Thang, an overseas Vietnamese in the US, who collected more than 150 maps and 3 atlases to confirm Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty.
