Phu Yen boasts a 190-kilometer coastline with scenic bays, capes, islands, beaches, special national relic sites such as Ganh Da Dia, and many other historical and cultural landmarks.
Meanwhile, Dak Lak is renowned for its eco-tourism, rich culture, vast coffee plantations, majestic waterfalls, and the Central Highlands’ gong cultural space. As the two provinces plan to merge, the connection between their sea and forest tourism resources is even more crucial.
Earlier, the Phu Yen Tourism Association surveyed Dak Lak to develop tourism products that feature the sea and forests. The Dak Lak Tourism Association also plans to make a fact-finding trip to Phu Yen next month to prepare creating inter-provincial tourism products following the planned merger.
