Fellow countrymen, comrades, soldiers across Vietnam, and compatriots abroad,

The Spring of the Year of the Snake has arrived, bringing with it joy, hope, and dreams. At this sacred moment of transition, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, I extend my heartfelt New Year wishes to all fellow citizens, comrades, soldiers across Vietnam, and compatriots abroad. I also send warm greetings of peace, happiness, friendship, and development to friends and people worldwide.  

The past year brought many "high winds and rough waves," but it was also a year of remarkable achievements for Vietnam.

Amid challenges, the solidarity, compassion, patriotism, and resilience of our people shone brightly. Together, the entire Party, people, and army worked tirelessly to meet or exceed all 15 socio-economic development targets. Our economic growth rate stood among the highest in the world, the well-being of our people continued to improve, political and social stability were firmly maintained, national defense and security were strengthened, and international relations were expanded. These achievements have earned Vietnam great respect on the global stage.

Every Vietnamese citizen, whether at home or abroad—workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, and soldiers stationed in remote border areas and islands—can take pride in their contributions to these accomplishments.  

2025 will be filled with important milestones for our nation. It will be a year of “acceleration and breakthrough,” laying the foundation for Vietnam to enter a new era—the era of rise for prosperity and strength, where the Party's vision and the people's aspirations converge for the nation’s flourishing.

Though challenges remain, Vietnam will continue to move forward. Nothing can hinder our collective aspiration to rise and achieve a brighter future. The entire Party, people, and army will continue to unite and uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-resilience, and national pride; seize every opportunity; overcome all obstacles; and make breakthrough achievements.

These efforts will pave the way for a prosperous, strong, democratic, equitable, and civilized Vietnam, where every citizen enjoys prosperity, freedom, and happiness, and for Vietnam to contribute even more to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.  

At this moment of harmony between heaven and earth, as we welcome the New Year, I once again extend my best wishes for health, peace, and prosperity to all fellow citizens, comrades, soldiers across Vietnam, and compatriots abroad. May the New Year bring countless new victories.
