Themed "Green Volunteering – for a safe and humane community", the camp hosts delegations from the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies of Vietnam, China, Japan, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan.

Addressing the launch of the camp, President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Bui Thi Hoa said the event delivers a message about the spirit of volunteering and selfless dedication, promoting a beautiful lifestyle for the community.

Vo Van Tuong, a member of the Lam Dong Volunteer Club, said, “We all have love. Our greatest joy and happiness is to bring this love to those who are in difficult circumstances. Presenting gifts to people in need increases the happiness of both recipients and givers.”

Nguyen Phuc Duc, Deputy President of the Thai Nguyen provincial Red Cross Youth Association, was one of last year’s 100 outstanding voluntary blood donors and one of the 75 youths honored as advanced young followers of Uncle Ho's teachings.

"Meeting so many people facing greater challenges than my own makes me feel fortunate. I love this work more and want to keep contributing to the voluntary blood donation movement," said Duc.

Held every five years, the camp honors the dedication of youth volunteers who are committed to humanitarian efforts and promoting the Red Cross volunteer spirit within the community. It's a platform for Red Cross youth volunteers to exchange experiences, best practices, and skills with each other and with international peers.

The camp is organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Khanh Hoa province’s People’s Committee.
