(VOVworld) – The 22^nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee closed in Hanoi on Tuesday. From October 10^th to October 15^th, the deputies discussed revisions to the 1992 Constitution and a number of draft laws and the government report on the implementation of development programs and the state budget for this year. They also discussed the additional issuance of government bonds for national highways 1 and 14 and the investment policy to build the Ho Chi Minh highway. High on the agenda were also the joining of the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol on Aircraft Equipment and the signing of the Convention against Torture.
