Speaking at a meeting to review the progress of expressway construction projects in Hanoi on Saturday, the Prime Minister emphasized that with the active participation of all stakeholders, the construction of 3,300 km of expressway could be completed, 10% higher than the set target.
According to a report presented at the meeting, by September 30, more than 2,500 km of expressways are expected to be completed. If additional key routes and local projects—such as the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) expressway and the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang road project in Lang Son—are completed this year, the total expressway network from North to South will reach 3,345 km.
