3rd Vietnam Bread Festival opens
(VOVWORLD) - Ho Chi Minh City is hosting the 3rd Vietnam Bread Festival, organized by the HCM City Tourism Association in collaboration with various partners. The festival aims to celebrate Vietnamese bread as a global culinary treasure, spreading its influence across five continents.

This year’s festival features a range of highlights designed to captivate both locals and visitors, including a grand entrance gate decorated with 1,100 loaves of bread, a boat display showcasing 100 unique bread-based dishes made with seafood and aquatic ingredients, and an exhibition space illustrating the evolution of Vietnamese bread from past to present.
Visitors can also explore a bamboo pathway adorned with animal-shaped bread models and browse over 140 booths featuring renowned bread producers and vendors. Additionally, a dedicated banquet area will serve a variety of bread-based specialties.
Beyond the culinary experience, the festival offers interactive activities such as live demonstrations, discussions with expert bakers and chefs, and insights into the history and development of Vietnamese bread. Visitors can learn how traditional recipes have evolved into modern variations, reflecting Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage.

This year, we have more booths, more visitors from diverse backgrounds, including Vietnamese and international guests, and an even greater impact on the country’s culinary and tourism landscape. The festival has solidified its position as one of Vietnam’s premier gastronomic events."
