3 domestic air routes will connect Can Tho city to Da Nang, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa cities. 4 international air routes will connect Can Tho city with Bangkok, Siem Reap and Taiwan (China) and the Republic of Korea. According to representatives of Can Tho city, the Southwestern Steering Committee and Can Tho international airport, the aim is to effectively utilize the Can Tho international airport and link tourism services and goods trading between the Mekong Delta region and domestic and international localities and attract visitors to the region.
