This year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Romania.

Ambassador Thuy thanked the Romanian government for its support for Vietnam in its fight for independence and in its national construction effort, saying he believed bilateral relations will continue to grow for both countries’ benefit. The Vietnamese movie “Pao’s story” was screened in Bucharest on Tuesday as part of the celebrations.
