The visit is strategically important as it will boost parliamentary cooperation, expand potential, and consolidate trust between the two countries’ senior leaders, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Dinh Ngoc Linh.

Discussions will also address sub-regional cooperation, food and water security, environmental protection, and responses to non-traditional security threats. The engagement of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam in AIPA 46 demonstrates the active, responsible role of the Vietnamese National Assembly in regional parliamentary activities and expanding relations with parliaments of other countries.“
During the visit, Chairman Man will meet with the Speakers of Malaysia’s Senate and House of Representatives, as well as other senior Malaysian leaders.
