(VOVworld) – ASEAN senior officials gathered in Brunei today to prepare for the annual ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting and associated meetings, scheduled for this Sunday.

This meeting aims to prepare plans of action and agenda and check documents to be approved at the function meetings. The ASEAN Ministers’ meeting is an important annual event to confirm the bloc’s key issues for the year to be submitted to the summit scheduled for October. The close at hand deadline for the establishment of ASEAN community and the unpredicted international and regional situations are forcing ASEAN ministers to outline efficient plans to link members and foster cooperation between ASEAN and its partners.
