Bhutanese King, Queen conclude state visit to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck left Hanoi on Friday morning, wrapping up a five-day state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong.

During the visit, the Bhutanese King was received by Party General Secretary To Lam, held talks with President Cuong, and met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
The Vietnamese leaders underscored the importance of the first state-level visit since the two countries established diplomatic relations and expressed confidence it would open up new opportunities to make their friendship and multifaceted cooperation more practical and effective.
