(VOVWORLD) - Brazilian President Lula da Silva's upcoming state visit to Vietnam signals both nations' determination to enhance the Vietnam-Brazil Strategic Partnership with concrete actions that promote substantive cooperation, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi.

In an interview with VOV, Nghi said the visit, from Thursday to Saturday at the invitation of President Luong Cuong, is expected to advance collaboration in politics, security, trade, investment, science, technology, innovation, culture, and climate change response.
The visit will be an opportunity for both countries' leaders to outline specific initiatives to operationalize the strategic partnership framework, turning political commitments into practical cooperation programs.
Ambassador Nghi said that the two nations will focus on advancing cooperation in pivotal sectors such as renewable energy, manufacturing, high-tech agriculture, biofuels, education, and climate change response, and will propose specific measures to promote economic and trade cooperation, expand markets, and increase investment. The visit is expected to also foster collaboration in tourism, aviation, seaports, and logistics.
President Da Silva’s visit marks a milestone in strengthening comprehensive, sustainable, and effective cooperation, aligning with the aspirations of both nations while reinforcing their regional and global roles.
