Cambodian Prime Minister Hunsen

Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Cambodian People’s Party Prime Minister Samdech Hunsen highlighted the significance of the victory which saved millions of lives from the Pol Pot genocidal crime and opened a new era of independence, freedom, democracy and social development for Cambodia. Mr. Hunsen said the ceremony was held to commemorate great sacrifices of Cambodian soldiers and Vietnamese volunteers. He expressed his gratitude to peace loving people around the world for supporting Cambodia’s national construction and defense. Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Vu Quang Minh and representatives of foreign missions in Cambodia attended the ceremony.
