Central Military Hospital 108 built into model healthcare for senior officials, soldiers, people

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, attended and delivered a speech at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday  to celebrate the 75th anniversary the  Central Military Hospital 108 and to award the Ho Chi Minh Order to the hospital.

75 years ago, during the arduous years of the nation's resistance war, the Central Military Hospital 108 was established with the mission of caring for and treating wounded soldiers, protecting the health of the troops, and serving the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Throughout its development, the Hospital has been entrusted by the Party, State, and Army with the particularly important task of protecting and caring for the health of the highest-ranking leaders of the Party, State, and Army, while serving the health care of soldiers and the people.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary Lam presented the Ho Chi Minh Order to the Central Military Hospital 108, stressing the need to continue to uphold the three core values of Heart-Mind-Trust and take medical ethics as the foundation, intelligence and innovation as the driving force and prestige and trust as the measure.

"Efforts should be made to build the Central Military Hospital 108 into a model in healthcare for high-ranking officials, soldiers, and the people, making a positive contribution to the development of Vietnamese medicine in the new era,” he added. 

The Party leader requested that the hospital thoroughly understand the principle of putting the patient at the center and consider the quality of treatment as the highest measure of its reputation and brand.
