Ceremony marks Vietnam-Moldova diplomatic ties

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine and Moldova held a ceremony in the Moldovan capital of Chisinau to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador in Ukraine and Moldova Nguyen Minh Tri expressed his hope that with the joint efforts of leaders and people of both sides based on traditional friendship, the two countries will continue tapping their cooperation potential to expand and deepen bilateral collaboration.

Anatol Vangheli, General Secretary of Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, noted that Moldova and Vietnam have shared a long-standing friendship. He stressed that Moldova always wishes to further bolster cooperation with Vietnam, especially in education training, and trade. The two sides should also coordinate with and support each other at multilateral forums.

On the occasion, Moldova’s Central Post Office announced the publication of envelops and stamps with symbols representing both Moldova and Vietnam.
