Chinese FM to visit UK, reviving strategic dialogue after 7 years
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit the UK and co-chair the 10th China-UK Strategic Dialogue, visit Ireland, and attend the 61st Munich Security Conference in Germany from February 12 to February 17, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced Monday.
The latest strategic dialogue between China and the UK was held in 2018. At the Munich Security Conference, Mr. Wang will speak at an event to share China's position on major international issues.
Following his European tour, Foreign Minister Wang will travel to New York to chair a high-level UN Security Council meeting on February 18. China holds the rotating Presidency of the UN Security Council for February.
