Addressing the UN Development Program’s high-level dialogue on 2023 development priorities in the Asia-Pacific held on Thursday, Giang said the implementation of climate change response and green energy transition is an inevitable path for sustainable development.

From Vietnam's experience over the years, Giang said that a strong commitment to climate change response should come from a long-term vision, through an approach that puts people at the centre and is mastered by people together with good governance.

It’s necessary to strengthen international cooperation for financial mobilisation and technology transfer, capacity building and mitigation of climate change impacts, according to Giang.
