(VOVworld)- Vietnam Tra Fish Association on Tuesday held a meeting to collect opinions on a Decree on tra fish production and export. The participants discussed prices, package information, export fees and the responsibility of relevant agencies, especially of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Nguyen Minh Toai, Director of Can Tho city’s Department of Industry and Trade, says: “The management of the production and processing chain has been ineffective due to overlapping management by the two ministries, so Vietnam needs to re-organized the management and work out a mechanism to make the management more effective. The responsibility of the two ministries should be clearly described and the Decree should also include a processing section”.
