Corporate culture considered “vaccine” for entrepreneurs to recover from COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - Enterprises, managers, and researchers discussed corporate culture and affirmed the importance of culture to sustainably developing the economy and facilitating the business environment at the Culture & Business Forum in Hanoi on Sunday.

At the forum themed “Acculturation - Foundation for sustainable recovery and development”, participants called corporate culture a "vaccine" for every entrepreneur and business to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said:“Experiencing different stages of national development, the Party has determined that the task of building culture in the economy needs more attention. The Prime Minister designates November 10 as Vietnam's Corporate Culture Day. Building corporate culture is building a competitive advantage, commercial advantage and Vietnam’s identity in the global economy. Therefore, this is the task of a facilitating  government and the business community, and is an integral part of building Vietnam into a start-up nation.”

The forum is held annually and organized by the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the organizing board of the “Building the Vietnamese business culture” campaign, the Youth Union, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
