(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam has recorded no new locally transmitted coronavirus cases during the past four days, said the Ministry of Health in its 6am Monday press release.
Vietnam has recorded 908 cases since the third wave of the coronavirus struck and spread to 13 cities and provinces across country in late January. The northern province of Hai Duong, a gateway to Hanoi capital, has reported 724 cases.
Doctors have so far cured 2,198 out of 2,572 COVID-19 patients. Thirty-five patients have died of COVID-19 and related illnesses.
According to the National Expanded Immunization Program, nearly 34,000 people have been vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus nationwide.
