The event was co-organized by the Da Nang City Association of AO victims, the Department of Education and Training, and the Da Nang-based Vietnam Television Station. The program aimed to raise funds to help more than 5,000 AO victims, including 150 children, in Da Nang. It called on benefactors inside and outside the country to subsidize infrastructure building for rehabilitation centers in Da Nang.
