Da Nang ranks 29th nationwide in terms of GRDP growth
(VOVWORLD) - Da Nang City's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) grew by more than 7.5% in 2024, placing it 29th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide in terms of GRDP growth, according to the municipal Statistics Office.

Tran Van Vu, the Office’s Director, said that 2025 has been identified as a year for breakthroughs. Da Nang will focus on streamlining the administrative apparatus and administrative procedures, effectively implementing urban governance, and adopting policies to boost economic growth, he said.
In 2025 and the following years, Da Nang will continue to prioritize its service sector, with tourism serving as a key pillar, according to Mr. Vu.
“However, we will continue to advise the city leaders on how to further develop the industrial sector. The focus will be on sustainable industries that can create more job opportunities," said Vu.
