Da Nang-Ahmedabad air route opens
(VOVWORLD) -The inaugural flight from Ahmedabad, India, to Da Nang landed on Thursday at Da Nang international airport. The new direct air route will operate two round trips weekly.

Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Department, said, “This year the number of international visitors to Da Nang has exceeded the target set by the tourism sector. To diversify the international tourist market for Da Nang, we continue to increase promotion and advertisement in the Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and India markets.”
In the past nine months, Da Nang welcomed 140,000 Indian tourists, up 4.2% from last year. Four large Indian weddings involving 1,200 guests were held in Da Nang city so far this year, and Da Nang will likely receive 3,000 tourists from India for MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) tourism.
