The plan marks a shift toward a “living heritage” model, linking conservation closely with education, tourism, research, and sustainable livelihoods. It aims to develop Trang An into Vietnam’s leading heritage tourism hub, an international destination, and a driver of green growth for Ninh Binh.
Deputy PM Chinh stressed the principle of preserving the status quo, strictly prohibiting the conversion of rice land and long-term agricultural land into residential land to safeguard the site’s original natural landscape.
