Digital transformation accelerated to boost tourism
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam needs to continue to renew its mindset and accelerate digital transformation in tourism development, according to a meeting of the State Steering Committee on Tourism in Hanoi on Thursday.

Participants stressed the need to reposition tourism resources after Vietnam's administrative unit restructuring, change regional planning toward new potentials and advantages, and create new tourism products that adapt to international trends of green tourism and digitalization.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee, said, “We need to continue to renew our thinking, develop tourism in a systematic and professional manner, reposition Vietnam's tourism industry, redefine planning, and maximize competitive advantages, opportunities, and potentials.”
