The terrorists laid down their weapons and expressed regret for their past deeds.
Among those who surrendered were four key commanders, including Noor Zaman, who has been involved in anti-government activities in the Chapa Dara, Watapur, and Mano Gai districts of Kunar.
The surrender came after Afghan forces captured a senior ISIS commander in Kunar 2 months ago.
