The money will be used to purchase food and the essentials for the poor households affected by the natural disasters. Binh Dinh province’s Red Cross Society provided thousands of boxes of instant noodles and 2,000 liters of water to the people.

Speaking to local people in Dai Phong commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged them to overcome difficulties and return to their normal lives soon. He spoke highly of efforts by the local people and authorities in evacuating people to safer areas and recovering from the flood’s consequences. Hai asked the province to mobilize resources to clean and restore houses, schools and health clinics: "The government has policies in place to support infrastructure re-building. The foremost task now is to assure plant and animal seeds, medicine and food. It is also necessary to clean and sterilize the surrounding environment.
