(VOVworld) - One Turkish soldier was killed and several others were wounded by gunfire from Syria. According to Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, the soldier was killed in the Kilis border region. Meanwhile, the Dogan news agency said 4 soldiers were wounded by shooting from an IS-controlled area near the Syrian border. The Turkish government has taken steps to enhance security along the Syrian border following a suicide attack on Monday in the border town of Suruç where 32 people were killed. IS has claimed responsibility for that attack.
