EU provides 1.3 million euros to help Vietnam’s flood victims

(VOVWORLD) - The European Union will give 1.3 million euros of critical humanitarian assistance to families affected by severe flooding in Vietnam’s central region in recent weeks.

According to the European External Action Service, the aid will focus on addressing the urgent needs of the most affected people in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue provinces.

An official for the EU’s humanitarian response in the Mekong region, said the funding will support Vietnam in delivering life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable, ensuring they have enough means to go through this difficult time.
