Exhibition “Agent Orange – Conciousness and justice” opens

(VOVworld) – An exhibition called “Agent Orange – Conciousness and justice” opened in Quang Ninh province on Tuesday as part of a series of activities to mark 54 years since the Agent Orange catastrophy and Day for Agent Orange Victims.

The photos and objects on display feature the daily life of Agent Orange/dioxin victims across Vietnam and their dream for a world of peace and happiness. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh, President of the Vietnam Association of Agent Orange/dioxin Victims, said: “The effects of Agent Orange, particularly on the environment and human life, have contributed to the fight for human rights. We advocate people around the world, particulalry war veterans in countries involved in the Vietnam war, to unite and form a front against chemical weapons and weapons of mass destruction in order to bring peace to the people of Vietnam and around the world.”
