Ha Long Bay boat capsize: 10 survivors treated in hospital, 35 killed, 4 missing
(VOVWORLD) -Among the 49 victims in the Wonder Sea boat capsize accident in Ha Long Bay, 10 are alive and being treated at medical facilities, 35 have died and 4 still missing, Quang Ninh province authority confirmed on Sunday evening.

Quang Ninh General Hospital is treating 9 people, most of whom are in stable condition. At Bai Chay Hospital, 1 child patient (10 years old) is being treated. Quang Ninh Department of Health has directed to waive all hospital fees and support food and necessities for patients and their families.
Quang Ninh province said it will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to search for the missing, ensure the best care for the survivors and provide maximum support to the families of those who died in the incident.
On Saturday afternoon, while visiting Ha Long Bay, the Wonder Sea ship with 46 tourists and 3 crew members onboard turned upside down because of a sudden thunderstorm.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extended his condolences to the victims and their relatives, and sent Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to the scene to direct the rescue operation.
