Adhering to the principle of "When drinking water, remember its source", the program showed gratitude to all Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroic Martyrs, policy families, and individuals who served the revolution. The progam promoted patriotism, national pride, and responsibility among the younger generation and honored those who laid down their lives for the homeland.

Lieutenant General Hoang Khanh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association, said that Vietnam has 1.2 million martyrs. "Although the country has been unified for nearly 50 years, 530,000 families are still waiting to bring their loved ones' remains home," Hung said, adding that of these, 180,000 unidentified martyrs' remains are on the battlefield.

The program featured guests who have volunteered to update martyr tombstone information, search for graves, and take care of national contributors.
