Hanoi gears up for National Day celebration
(VOVWORLD) - The 80th National Day celebration is expected to engage some 40,000 participants, including esteemed guests, military officers, and members of the public, the event’s organizing committee said at a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The celebration will take place at the Ba Dinh Square and along major streets in Hanoi on September 2. It will feature a military parade and a variety of activities that honor Vietnam’s history and cultural heritage.
A special arts performance by high-profile artists will be held on September 1, showcasing works that reflect Vietnam’s cultural identity.
10 task groups have been deployed to design and install models and posters at the venue, maintain public security, and ensure environmental hygiene. Medical services, free drinking water, and rest areas for locals and tourists are also in the pipeline.
