(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh city organized a ceremony to welcome the first foreign tourists of 2014 at Tan Son Nhat Airport on Wednesday.

The first 180 foreign tourists came from Hong Kong, China, the US and some European countries. La Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “We will expand our tourism market to Japan, Russia and the Middle East. We have established our representative office in the Middle East and will invest more to develop this market.”
