Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, said, “Over the past eight years, Project 1309 has been implemented in a professional and rigorous manner, delivering many notable results.”

“The most significant achievement has been a shift in awareness. The public’s understanding of human rights has undergone fundamental and positive changes,” said Thang, adding, “Human rights are no longer an unfamiliar concept; they have become a widely accepted academic subject integrated into curricula at all levels—from general education to higher and postgraduate education—and into training and capacity-building programs for leadership and management officials from the central to the grassroots level.”

They noted that integrating human rights into the national education curriculum underscores Vietnam’s political commitment to building a humane education system oriented toward comprehensive human development.
