The IAEA announcement later said that the two sides had reviewed Iran’s implementation of seven agreed measures, improving the transparency of Iran’s nuclear program. Discussions on additional measures to be implemented are on-going.
Observers believed that an uncertain conclusion to the talks might antagonise western countries who would participate in the up-coming Iran-P5+1 round of talks, scheduled for Tuesday. The P5+1 wants to probe allegations of Tehran’s efforts to develop nuclear weapons that Iran has denied.
