(VOVWORLD) -Russia’s Sputnik newspaper on Sunday said that Islamic State has incited followers to carry out terrorist attacks in the UK, Germany, and France at Christmas and New Year 2018.

The newspaper said that IS posted pictures on message apps in which Santa Claus has his hands tied and is on his knees. Behind him is a rebel standing in a place that appears to be London. IS has spread other terrorist pictures featuring famous places like the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
