(VOVworld)- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has urged ASEAN countries to boost cooperation with its dialogue partners through initiatives.

Addressing the ASEAN+3 Summit in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian Prime Minister said cooperation with China, Japan and the Republic of Korea creates a momentum for ASEAN to boost regional integration and accelerate the building of an ASEAN Community. He said he hoped the ASEAN+3 cooperation would contribute further to peace and prosperity in the region. At the meeting, China called for accelerating economic integration and ensuring financial stability in East Asia. China was ready to cooperate with other countries to conclude negotiation on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership by 2016 to boost regional trade and integration.
