Marcel Winter reelected President of Czech-Vietnam Society
(VOVworld) - The Czech-Vietnam Society convened its Congress for the 2017-2019 tenure in Prague on Saturday. Marcel Winter was reelected President of the Society which will mark its 20
th anniversary next year.

Winter said that in the next tenure, the Society will focus on macro-plan to foster bilateral friendship. It will also continue working with the Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnamese organizations in the Czech Republic to hold charitable activities and culture and sports exchanges, helping Vietnamese expats in the Czech Republic integrate into the local communities.
Some highlights of the Czech-Vietnam Society’s operation in 2016 included granting gifts for poor children in Coc Leu district, Lao Cai province; organizing activities to defend Vietnam’s marine sovereignty; and boosting bilateral labor cooperation. Winter has written hundreds of articles about Vietnam’s socio-economic development for Czech enterprises who are keen on investment opportunities in Vietnam.
