(VOVworld) – A meeting of female National Assembly deputies took place on Tuesday on the occasion of Vietnam Women’s Day, October 20^th.

The participants praised Vietnamese women’s contributions to national development. Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, said: "Female deputies have been very active in, and have made great contributions to the National Assembly. We hope that we will work together to implement the Law on Election of the National Assembly. We have the right to hope and act for real gender equality so that Vietnamese women can continue to contribute to national construction and development".
