Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds annual meeting with diplomatic missions, foreign press
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang hosted the annual meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign diplomatic missions, news agencies, and press organizations based in Vietnam on Thursday on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

In her remarks, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang highlighted Vietnam's accomplishments in 2024 and its efforts to overcome challenges and achieve several positive outcomes in socio-economic development.

Hang said with an open foreign policy, Vietnam has strengthened relationships with countries and international organizations. Vietnam now maintains diplomatic relations with 194 countries, has upgraded and deepened strategic and comprehensive partnerships with 32 countries, and plays an increasingly active role in over 70 regional and international organizations.
The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to international partners, diplomatic missions and foreign press agencies, for their valuable cooperation and support. She emphasized that Vietnam’s achievements in 2024 were made possible in part due to their efforts.
She called for continued collaboration, especially in promoting Vietnam’s image and sharing its story of dynamic development with the world.
Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang expressed her hope for stronger partnership and engagement from foreign representative offices and press agencies in Vietnam.
