“My Vietnam” marathon spreads national spirit
(VOVWORLD) -22,000 runners joined the “My Vietnam” marathon 2025 on Sunday at the Vietnamese Exposition Center in Hanoi to reflect on the nation’s profound history and spread national spirit.

Vu Minh Ly is Deputy Director of the Communications Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and head of the event’s organizing committee.
“The race aims to remind young people of the sacrifices their predecessors made for national independence, freedom, and the people’s happiness. The participants join the sacred atmosphere across the country as we celebrate National Day, September 2. The marathon coincides with the inauguration of the Vietnam Exposition Center, which will host an exhibition showcasing Vietnam’s 80 years of independence, freedom and happiness," said Mr Ly.
“My Vietnam 2025” was recognized by the Vietnam Records Organization as the race in Vietnam with the largest number of participants wearing a red flag with yellow star T-shirt.
