Myanmar's SuuKyi makes first in-person court appearance
(VOVWORLD) - Myanmar's deposed leader Aung San SuuKyi appeared in person at a court hearing on Monday for the first time since the government was taken over by the military nearly four months ago.

Her lawyers said SuuKyi looked in good health during a 30-minute meeting with her legal team. SuuKyi was charged with violating the law.
The Myanmar military arrested members of the election sub-commission and leaders from the National League for Democracy (NLD) with charges of election fraud.
After seizing power, the military imposed a year-long state of emergency and committed to an election for power transition.
