In his address, Mr. Hue highlighted Iran’s position in the region and its advantages in science, technology, the size of the economy, population and innovative startups. Hue said the two countries have great potential to develop economic, trade and investment ties on a par with their fine bilateral, political, and diplomatic ties.

He urged the two countries to fine-tune their legal frameworks to create more favorable conditions for their businesses.

“We have been trying to fine-tune our legal system and tackle difficulties for foreign investors in Vietnam. The two countries’ legislatures will work closely to promote and oversee their governments in completing and enforcing signed and prospective agreements. We encourage and support the business community of the two countries to organize more activities to promote trade between their businesses and localities. With efforts of the two legislatures and governments, the economic, trade and investment ties between the two countries will grow strongly,” said Mr. Hue.

The Vietnamese top legislator introduced Iranian businesses to Vietnam’s breakthrough policies and mechanisms including the new visa policy which will take effect from August 15 to create favorable conditions for foreign investors and tourists.
