(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has highly valued the outcomes of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon’s meetings with Vietnamese leaders.

Speaking at a meeting with PM Luxon, who is on an official visit to Vietnam and attending the ASEAN Future Forum, Chairman Man expressed confidence that both countries will work closely to realize high-level agreements and advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Prime Minister Luxon reiterated New Zealand’s commitment to help Vietnam enhance the quality of agricultural products for export, implement climate change response projects, and improve English proficiency among key Vietnamese officials. He also encouraged major New Zealand universities to strengthen partnerships with Vietnamese partners to help Vietnam develop high-quality human resources.
PM Luxon highlighted New Zealand’s strong support for ASEAN’s central role and expressed his desire to establish the ASEAN-New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership soon.
