New Zealand Prime Minister visits Temple of Literature

(VOVWORLD) - New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the Temple of Literature in Hanoi on Thursday.

During the visit, the two leaders explored the historical site and enjoyed a performance of Quan Ho, a traditional folk singing style of the Red River Delta, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared with Prime Minister Luxon the rich history of the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, which was established nearly a thousand years ago. He highlighted Vietnam’s deep-rooted tradition of valuing education and respecting teachers.

The Prime Minister said the Vietnamese Party and State always prioritize education and training as a national policy, ensuring that the country remains committed to fostering knowledge and talent development for future generations.
