NA Chairman requests thorough preparation for the 1st session of 16th National Assembly
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has asked relevant agencies to raise up the sense of responsibility, to closely coordinate, and to proactively prepare all contents and necessary conditions to ensure the success of the first session of the 16th National Assembly. He made the request at the 55th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee which concluded on Wednesday.

“It’s necessary to continue to make thorough preparations, ensuring that all procedures will be carried out synchronously and on schedule. First, we need to focus on personnel work. Second, we need to finalise and incorporate feedback from the National Assembly Standing Committee and send draft laws and resolutions to newly elected deputies. Unlike previous terms, at the very first session of the new tenure, the National Assembly deputies will immediately review, discuss and adopt a number of draft laws and resolutions,” said Mr. Man.
It is expected that at the first session of the 16th National Assembly, the Government will submit nine draft laws and one resolution.
