(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Museum officially opened at a ceremony in Hanoi on Tuesday, which also featured the launch of new publications and a commemorative stamp set marking the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese legislature.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man said the museum helps the public better understand the legislature’s formation, development, and role in Vietnam’s history.
“The museum should continue to apply digital technology to build a comprehensive digital archive and strengthen cooperation with National Assembly bodies, relevant agencies, museums, and international partners to develop itself into a true center of knowledge," he said.
Communication efforts should be expanded to make the museum a destination that helps educate the public, especially young people, about the history of the National Assembly, Mr. Man added.
