(VOVWORLD) - Deputies to the 15th National Assembly are scheduled to pass several important laws today including the revised Penal Code, the revised State Budget Law, the Public-Private Partnership Investment Law, the Export and Import Tax Law, the Law on Management and Use of Public Property, and revisions to the Law on Credit Institutions.

The National Assembly will hold a plenary session to vote on a resolution establishing the National Election Council.
This afternoon, the National Assembly is scheduled to elect the Chairperson of the National Election Council and vote on other personnel-related resolutions under its authority.
